SPTTC’s 500kV double-circuit transmission lines project in Egypt, including 4 lots, has a total route length of over 350 KM. It is one of the projects which have reflected the continuous improvement and upgrade of SPTTC’s management and performance. And it suggests that the labor force localization for the project has reached a new level --- general labor force subcontract ratio: over 60%; labor force subcontract ratio for civil works: 80%; labor force subcontract ratio for tower erection: 90%.

Project Description | 1. Package 3-2: civil works/foundation, tower erection, stringing and commissioning for the BaniSwif P.P-Assuit East transmission line，4×ACSR-490/65，155km (M185 (J30)- Assuit East: 120.12 km) 2. Package 2: Stringing for New Capital-Zahra Maadi transmission line, 4×ACSR-490/65, 32 km; and stringing for New Capital-Badr transmission line, 4×ACSR-490/65, 34,33km km 3. Package 3: Stringing for 3 transmission lines along Borolus coast, 4×AAAC-506, 39 km in total; and stringing for the transmission line to BaniSwifIndust. Zone, 3×ACSR-490/65, 16km. 4. Package 2 for Line 13: Construction of 500kV Abo Elmatamer - Maghagha Transmission Line (Line 13, total length: 281km); double circuit lines with conductor 4×ACSR-490/65; Package 2 length: ~110 km (foundations, tower erection and stringing) plus ~51km (only stringing). |
