Contract H Lot-1: Stringing of the Second Circuit of the 230kV Alamata- Combolcha-II-Legetafo Transmission Line (SPTTC won the contract as a Joint-Venture partner)

The project was the second overseas project for which SPTTC won the contract in 2016 as a party to a joint venture, Etern-SPTTC Joint Venture, while the first overseas project of this kind was the eight 33/11 kV substations project in Bangladesh won by CSR-SPTTC JV in 2015. 

It was also SPTTC’s first project that involved the stringing of one circuit of a 458km-long high-voltage transmission line with the other circuit being live, i.e. in operation.
